"text": "New Google AI updates are absolutelyinsane and this week was one of thebiggest weeks Google has had all year.\nFive things dropped, a new voice modelthat talks and thinks at the exact sametime, an AI agent that got its own\nGoogle account and now runs a wholehousehold, a brand new image tool builtstraight into Google Docs and Slides, a\npersonal story app that went live foreveryone in the US, and a map of 9billion changes to human DNA. I want togo through all five, but I want to start\nwith the one that changes how you workbecause I think most people are going tomiss why it matters. On September 15th,\nGoogle launched Gemini 3.8 live andGemini 3.8 live extended thinking.Google calls them their most advanced\nlive dialogue models yet. They speak 97languages, they're built on Gemini 3Pro, and they do something no voice\nassistant has ever really done well.Hey, if we have not met already, I amthe digital avatar of Julian Goldie, CEO\nof Goldie Agency. While he's out therehelping clients grow, I am here keepingyou up to date on everything AI. Julian\nreads every comment, so drop one belowand he will see it. Here's the problemwith every voice AI you've used up to\nnow. You ask it something, it needs tolook something up, and it goes quiet.Dead silence. You sit there wondering if\nthe thing crashed. Then 30 secondslater, it comes back with an answer. That gap killed voice AI for real work.\nNobody wants to talk to something thatfreezes mid-sentence. Gemini 3.8 livefixes that. It runs the look up in the\nbackground while it keeps talking toyou. Google's own words describe it asrunning tool calls without interrupting\nthe conversation. The model can say,\"Let me check that.\" and actually gocheck while still speaking. The extended\nthinking version goes further. Itnarrates progress as it works, so it'lltell you what step it's on while it's\ndoing it. Think about a real persondoing a task for you, they don't gosilent. They say, \"Okay, I'm pullingthat up now, give me a second. All\nright, I see it.\" That's the behaviorGoogle just built into a model. Googlealso shipped Gemini 3.5 Transcriber\nalongside it. That's a dedicatedspeech-to-text model covering 85 pluslanguages with low error rates. Now,\nbefore I get into the agent that got itsown Google account, and this one isgenuinely strange, I want to saysomething quick. Voice models like\nGemini 3.8 live only pay off if you knowhat to point them at. That's the wholegame now. Inside the AI ProfitBoardroom, we've got a 30-day roadmap\nfor exactly this, how to set up voiceagents that handle your follow-ups, yourclient calls, your inbox hands-free. We\nrun four coaching calls every week, andright now a lot of those calls arepeople working through Gemini andWorkspace automations live. Bring your\nsetup, we'll fix it on the call. There'sa prompt library built for Google'stools specifically, daily tutorials that\nwalk you through new releases like thisone step by step, so you're notguessing. And business owners in there,\na lot of them already running Geminiagents in their business today. There'sa member map, so you can find people\nnear you doing the same thing. Link inthe comments and description, or go toaprofitboardroom.com. Okay, the agent\nwith its own Google account. OnSeptember 17th, Google Labs announced anew version of CC. CC started inDecember 2025 as a personal productivity\nagent. It got popular fast with earlytesters. In May, Google brought it intothe Gemini app as Daily Brief. Now,\nGoogle rebuilt it completely. CC is nowan agent for families and households, and here's the part that made me stop.\nCC now has its own Google account, notyour account, its own, with its ownemail address, its own identity, its own\npermission set. Up to six people canjoin one CC. Each person picks what theyshare with it. Emails from your kids'\nschool, the swim center, the vet, youcan forward things to CC's emailaddress, or you can set it so certainsenders always go to CC automatically.\nGoogle says CC will even suggest sendersto add each week. Then CC sorts throughall of it and builds one shared daily\nbrief for the whole household. Googlecalls it Your day ahead. It connects tocalendar and tasks. It adds events\nautomatically based on what peopleshare. But, it doesn't stop at reading. It does things. CC can fill outpermission slips. It can fill in\nregistration PDFs. It can build schoolsupply shopping lists. It can planweekly meals. It can work out drive\ntimes between activities. So, you know,if you can actually make both. It cancreate shared docs and sheets. And if\nit's missing something it needs, itasks. Then, it updates its group memoryso it doesn't have to ask again. All\nright, third one. This one is moreimmediately useful for most peoplewatching. Google picks. It wentgenerally available on September 1st.\nIt's Google's AI image creation andediting tool. And it's built directlyinto workspace. It runs on Nala Banana,\nGoogle's image model. The thing thatmakes picks different from most AI imagetools is object-level editing. Most\nimage AI works one shot. You type aprompt, you get an image. And if onething is wrong, you start over. Newprompt, new image, new everything. Then,\nyou lose the parts you liked. Picks letsyou select a single object inside theimage and change just that. The rest\nays put. You can edit text inside animage. You can translate words inside animage. You can isolate one element and\nswap it out. It also generates severaloptions from one prompt so you pickinstead of re-rolling. You get to it at\npicks.new. It works as a standalone appon the web and it's built into docs andslides already. Select an image inside a\ndoc or a slide, click once and you'rediting with the full picks tool setwithout leaving the tab. Driveintegration is rolling out. And Google\nsaid you'll be able to open and editnearly any image saved in Drive with oneclick. And it collaborates like the rest\nof workspace. Share a link. Yourteammate edits the same image. Same as adoc. Dream beans. It's a Google Labs\napp. It launched back in June for AIUltra subscribers in the US. Earlierthis month, Google opened it up to all\naccounts in the US 18 and over onAndroid and iOS. Here's what it does.Overnight, it goes through the Googleapps you connect and builds you a small\nset of stories for the morning. Theconnected apps are Gmail, calendar, photos, YouTube search history, and now\nGemini. You pick which ones. It needs atleast one to work. It runs on Google'spersonal intelligence system, the same\none behind the Gemini app and AI mode. And it uses nano banana two to draw acustom illustration for every single\nstory. Google was clear about the designgoal. In their words, the goal is not toscroll forever. It's a finite\ncollection. You finish it. It ends. That's a real choice. Every other feedon your phone is built to never end.\nGoogle built one that stops. The storiescan be places to explore, shows towatch, reminders about something coming\nup. You can tap in to go deeper, booksomething, save it, or share it. If astory misses, you thumbs down it or tune\nit. If it missed a new hobby you pickedup, you tell it and future collectionsreflect that. It takes up to a day to\nbuild your first set. And your dreambeing settings are separate from yourGemini and AI mode settings. So, choices\nin one don't bleed into the other. Youcan delete your data or clear parts ofyour feedback history in the app. And\nfifth, this one has nothing to do withmarketing and I still think it's themost impressive thing Google shipped\nthis month, AlphaFold Atlas. GoogleDeepMind released it on September 8th.Human DNA has about 3 billion base\npairs. There are roughly 9 billionpossible single letter changes you couldmake to it. DeepMind predicted the\nffect of all 9 billion of them, everysingle one, and put it in a database. It's a 1 petabyte data set. Scientific\nAmerican noted it's about 30 timeslarger than the AlphaFold database, though less accurate. Here's why it\nmatters. Scientists understand the 2% ofthe genome that codes for proteinsfairly well. The other 98% is the\ncontrol panel. It decides when genesturn on, how much, and where. Mostvariations tied to traits and disease\nsit in that 98% and it's been thehardest part to read. Before this, aresearcher had to pick which variants to\ntest, then run the model on each one, which means you had to already have aguess. So, let me tie these fivetogether because there's a pattern.\nEvery single one of them is about thesame thing. Taking work that used tohappen in sequence and doing it inparallel. Gemini 3.8 live doesn't stop\ntalking to go do the task. It does both.CC doesn't wait for one person to gathereverything. Six people feed it and it\nsorts. Pिक्स doesn't make you regeneratethe whole image to change one word. Itedits the part. Dream Beans doesn't make\nyou check six apps. It reads themovernight and hands you one short stack.Alpha Genome Atlas doesn't makeresearchers run the model one variant at\nime. It ran all 9 billion in advance.Same idea five times in one week. Bothgroups have access to the exact same\ntools. One group just sat down andlearned them. If you want to be in thefirst group, that's what we built the AI\nProfit Boardroom for. We've got a 30-dayroadmap for Google's agent stackspecifically. Gemini live voice agents,\nworkspace automations, Pिक्स for yourvisuals, shared agents for your team, four coaching calls every week where we\ngo deep on this exact stuff and you canbring your own setup and ask questionslive. Daily tutorials showing you\nstep-by-step how to use each release asit ships so you're never behind. Aprompt library built around Google's\ntools. Business owners inside, plenty ofthem already automating their lead,follow-up, and content with Gemini right\nnow. And a member map so you can connectwith people near you doing the samework. Someone's always online. Link in\nthe comments and description or go toaiprofitboardroom.com.If you're creating all this content withAI but nobody's finding it online,\nyou've got a traffic problem. That'swhere SEO comes in. Great content meansnothing if it's not built to rank and\nmost businesses are sitting on contenthat nobody will ever see because theSEO side was never handled properly.\nThat's exactly what my team focuses onevery single day. Book a free SEOstrategy session with my team and we'll\nwalk you through what it actually takesto get your site ranking on Google andpulling in real traffic.
