So, the DSA is eyeing another win today. This time in Wisconsin's governor's race, but AOC isn't backing Francesca Hong. Hong. >> Francesca Hong has made clear her present stances to her election. >> Yeah, she's moved away from a lot of >> Right. She's moved away from it. And I I have a local city councilman that has this uh uh saying, "Woke one was crazy." >> Did the movement go too far with some of of those positions? I mean you you briefly supported the idea of defunding the police. police. >> I think that you know during lockdown lockdown of course rhetoric in that time is not rhetoric that we would use today. >> Joining us now is New York Post Post columnist Carol Marowitz in studio. It's so great to see you. Um you know woke one was crazy. That that was a turning point right there. >> Yeah. It's like woke has never been been tried. Like they say comm real communism has never been tried. I think that's what AOC is trying here. Has she changed on defunding the police? She's never talked about it. She's never talked about her change in policy or her change in thinking. I think she's still the same communist she's been all along. They've just learn to massage it a little better. >> Yeah. Do you think that she's sending Do Do you think this is a signal that she's about to sell out the DSA and these people who are so enthusiastic about her, or is she just flat out lying and it's just something she's saying? I think she's looking for higher office, so she'll do whatever it takes to get there. You could see her moderating the way she speaks, but again, I think people need to be really careful that she hasn't changed her actual policies. It's only the rhetoric. She talks about the rhetoric. It's only the rhetoric that she's changing. >> And part of the thing that's really, really crazy about this and it's actually really enraging if you stop and think about if you go back and you look at what that rhetoric from Woke One was crazy that she was spouting at the time. One that she was spouting at the time. people during the summer of love when people's neighborhoods were burned down, people lost their pharmacies, people lost their lives. The 'Woke One was crazy' that she laughs and giggles about was very, very damaging to people. >> That's right. And how about cancel culture ruining people's lives? She was at the forefront of that. She wanted to get rid of prisons. She kept saying, 'No, we really do want to defund police. This isn't just something we say.' Uh, all the kids that were caught up in the trans insanity, that's at her feet. And none of that has changed. If you ask her her positions today, they won't be any different than they were a few years ago. Again, she's just learned a better way to talk about them. >> Yeah. She's smelled power and she thinks she's going to go the distance and she's going to now say whatever she has to do to in order to get full control of that power. That's right. As always, so great to see you, Carol. >> So good to see you, Charlie. Be sure to like and subscribe for all the Fox News latest on YouTube and catch full shows streaming now on Fox One.
