{"text": " You can now stop creating PowerPoint slides by hand because Claw Design just released massive upgrades last week that finally lets you replace PowerPoint for good. And today I'll teach you not only how to generate engaging slides on demand, but also how to connect it to live data so your slides refresh themselves and how to make it create beautiful animations that put you leagues ahead of everyone else. And if you're new, my name is Jay. I spent over a decade working with brands you may know, have been in AI since my master's in data science. Now I'm running an AI business and one of the largest AI communities globally. Let's dive into it. So PowerPoint and slides creation in general, as we know, is really important because whether you're working in corporate or pitching to clients, you know that slides is the preferred choice of communication to communicate ideas to business. If you think about it, it's not very uncommon to think that six to seven figure deals can actually be closed from just a professionally designed tech. But if you've ever used PowerPoint before, creating good slides has always been quite painful because you need a bit of a design skill in order to create them by hand. And it also takes hours of work sometimes to create good slides. Like for example, this one that you're seeing right here, I made this using Claude. And in the past, this would have taken me hours to build it out myself. Well, now with the new version of Claude design, which Anthropic just massively upgraded sometime last week, I do think that it is powerful enough to automate good slide creation and really give PowerPoint a run for its money. And so that is what I'll be going through with you today. And I'll be showing you four levels on how you can automate slides so that by the end of it, you might never need to build a slide by hand again. And the first level is what you may be used to, where now you just need to send a prompt in order to generate a presentation. But in order to create good slides, you need to have some foundations in place so that it doesn't just generate for you some wide-quoted visuals that are pretty easy to tell nowadays. And to use Claude design, to me, the best way is to just go to Claude.ai slash design. Although it is good to note that if you're using the Claude desktop app, there is actually a shortcut for Claude design already there. But if you click that, this isn't really a true integration yet because all it does is pretty much open a new tab for you to work with that same web app that they have. And from here, what you want to do is to just click the slides preset. And similar to other Agentec apps, you can just paste in a prompt here. So for this demo, we're asking it to make a five-slide pitch deck for Rubrik, which if you have a live website like this, that would be extremely useful because then your agent can just parse through the information here and actually get the context from this website. Now, if you don't have that, then you can just upload any files or any context information right from within your prompt or by just attaching a file here. Or if you have some live data that you need to include in slides, I'll also go through that in further levels. But here you can see the other component that I have turned on is this design system, this robo design system. And if I send over that prompt, what it will basically do is use that robo design system in order to give us a pretty good starting point to make sure that it is aligned to the visual style that we want. Now, if your brand doesn't yet have a design system, don't worry because what I did is just capture all of the learnings that I have in this free PDF guide, which you can just grab below. And if you read through this or just hand it to your agent, that it includes already a lot of best practices around crafting your own design system. In fact, that also includes links to 20 plus design systems that you can just get out of the box. So for example, this one is inspired by Figma. This one is inspired by Uber. If you're in the finance field, this one is inspired by TransferWise. And this just gives you a nice solid base to customize your own design system if in case you don't have it. So if you want to grab this PDF guide along with several prompts here that you can use in order to create your own design system, then you can just grab that in the link below. But going back to Cloud Design, once you have a design system set up, as a good practice, Cloud Design actually asks you a few questions so that you are completely aligned on the output that you want. Especially when it comes to matters of taste and design, having good inputs in the beginning, including answering these questions truthfully and as accurate as you can be, is going to go a long way in creating good output for you. So I'll just answer some of these questions. And once I click continue, those slides will now be generated for you. And now it's created that slide pack for us. And you can see the design system at work here. So this dot matrix visuals, the different fonts and custom fonts that we have in here are all coming from that robo design system that we built. And this is already honestly pretty good even at this level. And the great thing about Cloud Design is that you can present it right from within this tab. So if I click present and click on full screen while this toggle is on, what it will do is just maximize that screen. You can see the first slide here for the title. The next slide goes through the problem that this product addresses, what's inside the command center, a few more details about the numbers, and also the steps to get it. Now, the great thing about the update that Antropic did is that they also introduced this speaker view. So it opened this separate tab for us, where similar to PowerPoint, you can add speaker notes in here, which you can also edit if you wish. So if you're presenting to a client or for your business over at Zoom or Google Meets, then this is really useful. Now, just to mention it, if in case you do need to present using PowerPoint, Cloud Design actually has a built-in export button for PowerPoint already. So what you just want to do is to make sure if you're using custom fonts to change this to editable custom fonts. And once you download that, that will just download the PowerPoint version of that pack straight to your device. And you can present from here and also edit in PowerPoint if in case you're more comfortable with this tool. But even though this is already quite good, we're actually not yet done. Because what I want to do here is to give Cloud Design the skill or the knowledge of what good slide principles look like so that it can actually tweak this to align to those principles. And so what I did is just collate all of those slide principles into one skill. So you can see there's useful principles here that is pretty common as a best practice when it comes to consulting. So there's this pyramid principle, which was popularized by McKinsey. There's principles around crafting titles. So they're more like takeaways rather than topics. And what this skill does is it just supercharges your Cloud in order to understand those principles really quickly. Now, as of the time of this recording, Cloud Design actually doesn't have skills yet as we are used to with Cloud Code. Because yes, if you click on this plus icon, there actually is a button here for skills. But these are actually all just built-in skills from Antropic. And you can't add your own yet. Now, if you ask me, I think that is definitely something that Antropic should do and will likely do in the future. But what you can do to go around that since a skill is just a text file anyway, is to just attach that file into the chat. And this skill file, if you're part of the community, then you can just find that in our classroom. And so if I attach that and I'll just zoom in so you can see, then I'll just say that this skill file is the best practice principles for slides. And I want Cloud Design to use it to improve this presentation. And by the way, if you want to learn how to build and sell AI systems that businesses actually pay for, then that's pretty much all we do over at the RoboNuggets community, where not only do you get access to the Cloud Living Masterclass, which we update every week and takes you from zero to mastery with the latest on AI, but you also get access to our Agents as a Service course, which walks you through how to actually get paid for all these AI skills that you are learning. You also get to be part of a genuinely great community of AI builders. In fact, you can see just some of the recent wins our members are getting from the program right here. So if you want to start earning from AI, then check that just in the pinned comment below. Now back to the video. So now when it's done with those edits, if I go to the full screen here, you can see that it included some animations for us, which just makes these slides a bit more engaging in my view. And under the hood, what it's doing here is it's using HTML and CSS in order to create these animations. And this is something that you can't really do in something like PowerPoint, right? But now we just one prompt and that skill that I gave it, it was able to create these animations for us. Now what makes Cloud Design now, this new update that Antropic gave us, a true design tool, is the fact that you actually have so many options here in order to give it feedback. The one that you would expect in something like PowerPoint, let's say, is if you click on this edit button, you'll be able to open this edit sidebar. Or let's say if you want to change this text, let's say we want to make this text bold or this text to be italicized or underlined, that is something that you can do now. And you can also obviously change and retype any of the text that you want here. So pretty much the stuff that you can do in PowerPoint, you can already do from within Cloud Design. Now, same as before, you can still provide markup comments to these slides. So if I click on markup, I can actually click on any of these elements and just provide comments to any of these slides, which Cloud Design can now address based on your comments. The other powerful feature that Cloud Design has here is this tweaks capability, where you can actually describe things that you want to tweak or just ask Cloud to give you any ideas. And what that will do is open up a slider toolkit that will just let you tweak some elements from within your slides. Under the hood, what you can see is what it does is it just self-sends this prompt, where it asks itself to add tweakable controls to this pitch deck to study this design and add a tweaks panel with two or three expressive controls. So that's all it really does. So if you want more controls here, then you can actually just prompt it to give you more controls. And now what we have is this tweaks panel where we can change this from orange to amber, let's say the colors that we have in the slides. It also gave us some options for the motion. So instead of lively motion animations, now it's a bit more calm. And with this pack, I actually wanted to have a bit more tweak options that relate to text. So I just asked Cloud to give me that. And now we have this section where we can change the text if we wish to, change the headline case, and also change the supporting copy to minimal. So if we go to the slides where there's actually a supporting copy, we can make that a bit more verbose or less. And so that just helps you edit these slides more in a batch manner. So that let's say if you have a 40 slide pack, it is much easier to design or redesign any of those slides with just literally a click of a button. So now let's go further. Because with any presentation, it is quite common that you need to present data and information in order to convey your message, right? So maybe you're presenting results to a client, or maybe you're trying to convince an investor that your numbers are good. Well, that is also now possible using Cloud Design. To give you a quick example, I generated these draft slides coming from real data for GA4. So it has information on the number of sessions, new users, even has a table chart here for more information about the data contained in that data set, and also three takeaways that you may want to communicate. And the only problem I sent there, as you can see, is I sent a link to this spreadsheet in this Google Drive URL, and I just ask it to make three slides to summarize the data in that spreadsheet. And if I go to that Google Drive link, you can see that data is just contained in this spreadsheet. Now, by default, if you just send a URL like this, it wouldn't work. Because what you need to do first is to connect Cloud to your Google Drive. And this can now be done with Cloud Design as well. So if you go to your profile here at the top right and click on connectors, here you'll be able to see the Cloud.ai connectors or MCP servers that you have set up for Cloud. And the great thing about this is if you have set this up for Cloud, or you have knowledge of setting this up in Cloud, then the stuff that's connected here is already going to automatically be connected to your Cloud Design account. And so you can see Google Drive is already added here, which is why Cloud Design was able to read that data for us. And if I click on manage, that will just take us straight to Cloud.ai's interface, where you can actually just set up the connection yourself by adding a connector here. And from here, you can add Google Drive, it will take you to a single sign-on page that is pretty simple. Or if you're using SharePoint and the Microsoft Office workspace, let's say for your business, then the Microsoft 365 connector is probably the one that you're looking for, because this can connect to SharePoint, to OneDrive, to Outlook, and Teams. And so very simply, once you have that connected, any information that you have on Google Drive or even SharePoint, you can now access using Cloud Design and create some fantastic slides coming from that. Now, when it comes to data, you may be interested in knowing how you can actually refresh the data for the same slides, let's say on a weekly basis, which is pretty common when it comes to results reporting for like a marketing campaign or for analytics. Well, that can be done as well with Cloud. And I'll show you how to do that once we get to level four. But before we get to those good nuggets, let's go to level three first, because there's actually another level for us to beautify or make the slides even better and more visually striking. And that is what we're going to tackle in this stage. And when you get to this level, this is really where you unlock the true power of Cloud Design. Because what you can actually do is generate videos like these that you can put in your slides in order to just make it a bit more engaging. And the way to make those slides is to create assets like these first, which I'll show you how to do. The prompt that I sent to Cloud Design is this, where I ask it to just generate these Studio Ghibli style animations. I wanted it to be 9 by 16, although obviously you can do other aspect ratios as well. And I wanted to use Cling 3.0 via Higgs field. And the reason why I can use Higgs field straight from within Cloud Design is similar to before, where I connected it as a connector. So if I go to my MCP connectors here, I have Higgs field here connected via MCP, which for you to set that up, all you need to do is to add it in as a custom connector because it's not one of the default connectors in Anthropix marketplace. You can just give it a name here like Higgs field and give it the MCP server URL, which is this one. Now there are other providers like KIAI as well as File AI too. But since Cloud Design only works from within the connectors here in the Cloud desktop app, what I actually found, at least right now, is that File and KIAI's MCP don't work as well here, which is why I am using Higgs field to generate those assets. And so from here, what I did is to just copy the link to this cloud.ai slash design, which is another reason why I like using Cloud Design in the browser. And to make those slides in this new session, I just gave it the URL of those assets. And I asked it to get the videos from here and make slides for a launch video. And at least the vision that I have for this is that I wanted to place the videos on the right and use these slides as titles. And so it created these slides for me, which I can now present in full screen. And that is now a bit more engaging versus your usual slides that are less dynamic. Now let's go to level four, which is using Cloud Design with Cloud Code in order to use all of the features that are available to us in that more powerful platform. And just to show you what I mean, you remember this dashboard slides that we made from earlier. And ideally, what you would want to do is to have an automated routine where these data points are refreshed, let's say, on a weekly or even on a daily basis. Well, the good news is that is actually possible using Cloud Code. So if I just click on share here and click on send to Cloud Code, assuming that you are already happy with that design that we saw earlier. Now, if you just copy this prompt, or you can also just download the zip here if you want, you can just send that to Cloud Code wherever you're using it. And what I actually want to do here is just give it a short brief that I want to set up a routine to refresh the information every week. And so what I'll do is apart from that prompt that Cloud Design gave for us, I'll also include this snippet where I said that this is a slide pack for Google Analytics report, which we need to generate or create every week. And we'll just ask Cloud Code to set up a routine that grabs this information for us from this folder in Google Drive every week. Now, obviously, if your data is not living in Google Drive, all you need to do is to set up a connector to Cloud Code to it, and it'll be able to refresh that data for you on the cadence that you wish. And now that it's completed that, it was able to schedule that task, which if we go to the Cloud desktop app, you can see that routine is now scheduled for us here. And this slide pack that we just created in Cloud Design will now refresh its information depending on the data source that you linked it to. So there you have it, four levels of how to use Cloud Design to pretty much end your reliance on a manual tool like PowerPoint. I hope that was useful. And as always, thank you for watching until the end, and I'll see you all next time. Thanks.
